The New Wave of Amsterdam Heavy Metal…

The band consists of Damian Lopez and Franggy Yanes respectively on the drums and bass delivering a blasting rhythm section combined with the duo of high gain guitar players, in turn rhythm or lead, Mathieu Martel and Yordi Lopez. The band is completed by the searing voice of Lucas Pruim.

After the release of their self-titled E.P Red Eyes was born and immediately they embarked on a series of gigs throughout Holland. Gaining loads of live experience, Red Eyes was ready to record their first full-length called Obey The Beast.

It was recorded at Soundlodge studios(Germany) home of bands like Dew Scented, God Dethroned, Izegrim a.o.), recorded and mixed by our own Yordi Lopez and mastered by Darious van Helfteren(Judas Priest, Revamp, Kyteman a.o.)

The record was released in a sold-out Paradiso in Amsterdam on March 27 2012, and attracted the attention of Austrian label Noisehead Records.

Noisehead Records will re-release Obey The Beast in the rest of Europe the 19th of oct 2012. The Noisehead tour starts from the 5th of oct until the 27th of dec containing 15 gigs inc. two in France to promote the album yet again.

To this date, Red Eyes have played over 60 gigs, including some of the most prestigious stages from Holland including Melkweg and Paradiso in Amsterdam , P60 in Amstelveen and outdoor festivals such as Herrie in Schiedam and the Bite Festival.
